Teaching older children (8-15 years)

We play anything the child wants to play. We start from the child's actual level. If she/he has played before, we continue from there, if she/he is not yet familiar with the basics we start from the beginning. For example, we learn harmonies, so that the child will be able to accompany familiar songs. We do fourhanded improvisation practices and try to still have time to create small compositions. We use different books to practice musical notes. The child may decide the amount of playing tasks, and also take part in choosing the musical pieces. The main task here is expressional, not theoretical. All teaching is in individual basis, not in groups.
